Interaction Technical is working in partnership with a leading materials handling business to recruit an experienced Workshop Engineer for their Burton Latimer depot.

The Role

As a Workshop Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment within a busy depot workshop.

Working alongside experienced engineers, you will play a key role in ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standards before being returned to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and material handling equipment
• Diagnose electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults
• Carry out planned maintenance and safety inspections
• Complete major repairs and component replacements
• Prepare new and used equipment for customer delivery
• Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs)
• Complete workshop paperwork and service reports accurately
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
