The Role
We are seeking an experienced Garage Door Technician/Fitter to join the growing team.
You will be responsible for installing garage doors to a high standard at customer properties across Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. You will also receive full training in garage flooring installation, which will form a significant part of the role.
This is a customer-facing position, so excellent workmanship, professionalism and customer service are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and fit garage doors safely and professionally.
- Complete installations efficiently and to a high standard.
- Work directly with customers at residential properties.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout each installation.
- Carry out garage flooring installations following full training.
- Maintain tools, equipment and the company vehicle to a high standard.
- Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.
- Represent the company professionally when visiting customer properties.
- Travel throughout Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 3 years' experience in garage door fitting/installation.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Strong practical and technical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A strong work ethic and reliable attitude.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A professional and customer-focused approach.
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Ideally, you will live locally to Hertfordshire.
