Temporary to Permanent Opportunities – Tool Hire Operative

Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting 2 Temporary to Permanent Operatives for a well-established and growing company specialising in the hire and maintenance of power tools and equipment.

Available Shifts

✅ 6:00am – 2:00pm
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

✅ 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Answering incoming telephone calls and assisting customers with their orders and enquiries
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining professional communication at all times
• Cleaning and preparing hire equipment ready for customer use
• Rewiring and PAT testing power tools and equipment
• Ensuring equipment is maintained to a high operational and safety standard
• Supporting the wider team with day-to-day depot activities

What We're Looking For

• Previous customer service experience would be advantageous
• Confident and professional telephone manner
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Basic electrical aptitude
• Ability to wire a domestic plug is essential
• Reliable, hardworking and keen to learn new skills
• A team player with a positive attitude

Full training will be provided for PAT testing and equipment maintenance, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop their technical skills and build a long-term career.
