About the Role

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Hitchin, is looking to recruit a Trainee Electroplater to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous production or manufacturing experience who is looking to learn a skilled trade. Full training will be provided.

This is initially a temporary position, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the electroplating process following full training.
  • Preparing components for plating.
  • Loading and unloading products safely and efficiently.
  • Carrying out quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards.
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Keeping the work area clean and organised.
  • Supporting the wider production team with general duties when required.

  • Previous production or manufacturing experience is essential.
  • Willingness to learn a new skill and develop within the business.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
