Warehouse Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Administrator to join a busy and fast-paced distribution operation in Corby. Our client is seeking a motivated and organised individual to provide administrative and logistical support, ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the depot. Working closely with the management team, you will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations, customer service, and reporting activities.

The Role

  • Salary: £29,636.10 per annum
  • Location: Corby
  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Nights
  • Hours: 42.5 hours per week
  • Working Hours: 21:00 – 06:00
  • Pay Frequency: Monthly
  • Additional Benefits: Free onsite parking

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise closely with colleagues to understand customer and supplier requirements.
  • Respond to and manage customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support procurement activities as required.
  • Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Accurate data entry and maintenance of records.
  • Produce timely and accurate weekly and monthly management reports.
  • Carry out general administrative duties to support warehouse operations.
  • Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks as required by the management team.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
