Join a Growing Food Production Team

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive Production Team Leader to join a busy food manufacturing site in Taunton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with production or manufacturing experience who enjoys leading a team, maintaining high standards, and working within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of production operatives to achieve daily production targets
• Ensure products, including cakes and baked goods, are finished and packed to a high standard
• Oversee the safe and efficient running of production machinery
• Support and coordinate ingredient mixing in line with recipes and production procedures
• Monitor quality, productivity, and hygiene standards across the production line
• Train, guide, and motivate team members
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment
• Ensure food safety and health & safety procedures are followed at all times
• Report any production or machinery issues to management
• Support continuous improvement across the production process

Shift & Pay

• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 – 14:30
• £15.71 per hour
• Weekly pay

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience within food production or manufacturing
• Previous supervisory or team leader experience preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
