Interaction Recruitment are working in partnership with a national distribution company who are looking for an Assistant Transport Manager to join their team on a FULL-TIME basis, starting IMMEDIATELY.

This Role is to work DAYS, Monday to Friday.

40 hours per week.

Monday – Thursday 09:00 – 17:30.

Friday - 09:30 – 18:00.

About the role & duties:

Support the Transport Manager in completion of daily driver pre-briefs and de-briefs

Ensuring high standards of Customer service and driver compliance with all operational processes.

Carry out several of the Transport Manager’s tasks whilst they are on holiday.

Extensive contact with external service providers

Ensuring vehicle and driver compliance is maintained in full. 

Candidates must have:

• Good geographical knowledge

• Strong communications skills

• Preferable previous experience working in traffic or logistics

• IT literate with high competence in Excel
