HGV Technician – Ellington Depot

We are currently recruiting for a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at our Ellington Depot, located just outside of Huntingdon. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician looking for a stable, well-paid role with a great work-life balance.

Salary & Benefits

• Up to £50,000 per year (equivalent to £24 per hour based on a 40-hour week)
• Overtime opportunities available
• Consistent weekday schedule with limited weekend work

Working Hours

• Typically, 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• Alternative Saturdays or as required

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs
• Diagnosing faults and ensuring timely, effective solutions
• Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
• Maintaining accurate records of work carried out

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role
• Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A valid HGV licence (desirable but not essential)

• Based at our Ellington Depot, conveniently located just outside Huntingdon
