What we’re looking for

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • A valid Counterbalance & Reach Truck licence
  • Previous experience within a warehouse environment
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Good IT skills, including MS Office
  • A solid understanding of stock control processes

About the Role

This is a varied, hands-on role within a clean, food-grade warehouse environment. You’ll be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations, from goods-in through to dispatch, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high standards at all times.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Loading and unloading vehicles (using FLT or manually)
  • Booking in deliveries, checking, weighing, sampling, and labelling stock
  • Accurately storing goods within designated locations
  • Picking, weighing, and packing orders to tight deadlines
  • Palletising and preparing goods for dispatch
  • Carrying out regular stock checks and stocktaking
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse
  • Following strict food safety and hygiene procedures
  • Working closely with internal teams to manage stock movement

You’re someone who takes pride in doing a job well and enjoys being part of a small team. You’ll be reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a physically demanding environment.

You will also:

  • Be comfortable with manual handling (regular lifting up to 25kg+)
  • Have strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Have a positive, team-focused attitude
  • Bring a proactive mindset and willingness to learn
