Fabricator Welder – Temp to Perm

Location: Deeside Pay Rate: £16.57–£17.83 per hour Hours: Full‑time Start: Immediate

We’re recruiting for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join a leading manufacturing business in Deeside. This is a long‑term temp‑to‑perm role with excellent prospects and a supportive team environment.

Key Duties

• Fabricating a range of sub‑components using profiles, sections, and plate materials (4mm–30mm+).

• MIG/MAGS welding on mild steel to high quality standards.

• Working from technical drawings and following precise tolerances.

• Using workshop machinery including band saws and pedestal drills.

• Carrying out JIG work (experience beneficial).

• Completing production inspection sheets and maintaining accurate records.

• Reporting faults or issues that may impact production.

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.

• Adhering to all Health & Safety requirements, including correct PPE and equipment use.

What We’re Looking For

• Time‑served Fabricator Welder – essential.

• Strong MIG/MAGS welding skills on mild steel.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Previous factory or production environment experience.

• Confident working with various plate thicknesses and fabrication techniques.

• JIG work experience – advantageous.

• Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work to deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail and a positive team attitude.
