Quality Controller

Location: Sittingbourne
Pay: £12.35 per hour
Hours: 

• 6am – 2pm
• 2pm – 10pm (rotational shifts after training is completed)

• Contract: Temp to Perm
  Days: Monday to Friday
  Requirement: Must drive due to rural location

About the Role

We are recruiting a Quality Controller to join a busy fruit farm warehouse team in Sittingbourne. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail, who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and is looking for a long‑term position with the potential to go permanent.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspecting fruit for quality, size, ripeness, grading, and defects
• Recording quality data accurately
• Working closely with production teams to ensure high standards are maintained
• Following food safety and hygiene procedures
• Reporting any issues or non‑conformities
• Supporting general warehouse operations when required

What We’re Looking For

• Previous quality control or food production experience is desirable
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full driving licence and own transport is essential
• Reliability and a positive work ethic
