HGV Class 2 Driver

Location: Newton Abbot

Pay: £15.38 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Start Time: 06:30 (Job finish)

Interaction Recruitment are looking for hardworking Class 2 Drivers to join a fast-paced delivery team based in Newton Abbot. This is a regional role covering Devon, Somerset, and Dorset, delivering essential stock to the hospitality trade.

The Daily Grind

This isn't just a driving job; it’s a physical role that requires energy and a great work ethic. You will be responsible for delivering barrels, kegs, and bottled goods to various venues.

• The Route: 15 to 25 drops per day across the South West.
• The Load: Total daily loads vary between 3.5 tonnes and 5 tonnes.
• The Team: Class 2 routes are double-manned.
• The Schedule: 06:30 starts, Monday to Friday. You work until the route is finished—perfect for those who like their weekends free.

Requirements

• HGV Class 2 (Category C) License.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Physical Fitness: You must be comfortable handling heavy barrels and kegs (manual handling training provided).
• Reliability: You are the backbone of the supply chain for our local pubs and restaurants.
