Timber Mill Operative

Location: Exeter
Pay: £13.00 to 13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We are looking for a Timber Mill Operative to join our client’s busy team in Exeter. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, working with timber products and machinery. Full training will be provided, but previous experience in a similar setting would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating timber mill machinery safely and efficiently
• Cutting, shaping, and preparing timber to specification
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Assisting with loading and unloading timber products
• Working as part of a team to meet production targets

What We’re Looking For

• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable and punctual
• Previous experience in timber or manufacturing
