The Role

As the school’s Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and well-structured lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

  • Assess, track, and support pupil progress, ensuring all learners are motivated, stretched, and celebrated.

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.

  • Foster independence, resilience, confidence, and a love of learning in every child.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum planning, share best practice, and contribute to whole-school initiatives.

  • Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and staff to support the holistic development of each child.

  • Play an active role in school life, contributing to a vibrant and nurturing community.

Key Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in Key Stage 2.

  • Strong classroom management and the ability to inspire, motivate, and engage learners.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • A reflective, proactive approach with a genuine commitment to continuous professional development.

  • Passion for supporting children’s academic, social, and emotional development.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
