Job Opportunity: TIG Welder Fabricator – F1 & Automotive Industry
Location: Silverstone

We are partnering with a prestigious client at the forefront of Formula 1 and high-performance automotive engineering to recruit an experienced TIG Welder Fabricator.

This is a rare opportunity to work in a fast-paced, precision-focused environment where the highest standards of craftsmanship and engineering excellence are expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-precision TIG welding on thin-gauge materials including aluminium, stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium.

  • Fabricate complex components and assemblies using technical drawings, CAD models, and verbal instructions.

  • Work to extremely tight tolerances, ensuring all components meet F1 and motorsport quality standards.

  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to solve fabrication challenges and improve processes.

  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to maintain consistent, high-quality results.

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safety-compliant workshop environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven TIG welding and fabrication experience, ideally within F1, motorsport, or high-end automotive sectors.

  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, weld symbols, and fabrication techniques.

  • Experience with specialist materials commonly used in motorsport and aerospace.

  • Skilled in sheet metal work, tube manipulation, jig work, and bespoke fabrication.

  • Attention to detail with the ability to produce consistently clean, structurally sound welds.

  • Self-motivated, professional, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
