Semi-Skilled Mechanical Fitter

Full time – Permanent

We are recruiting for Semi-Skilled  Mechanical Fitter to join our growing team.

This role includes mechanical fitting up of pipe spools and prefabricated pipework,  installation of pipework to boilers. Bench assembly work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe use of lifting equipment for moving and fitting large components.
• Always observe and comply with health & safety requirements.
• Maintain tidiness in the workplace and high standards of housekeeping.
• The use of hand tools & machinery including hand drills, mag drills, grinders, air tools.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A positive and proactive attitude.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

37.5 hours per week, everything thereafter will be paid at time and one half.

22 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays (accumulating +1 day for every 5 years of service).
