Electrical Fitter

Full Time - Permanaent

We are recruiting for Electrical Fitter to join our growing team.

Key Duties.

• Install electrical systems and equipment
• Wiring in accordance with regulations and electrical engineering drawings.
• Running cables and installing flexible conduit runs.
• Termination of control panels and control equipment.
• Termination of 3 phase motors and VSD units.
• Fitting cable tray and uni strut, other various fitting duties.
• Installation and connection of lights, switches and LV equipment
• Correctly instruct, supervise and transfer skills to any apprentice or semi-skilled led worker assigned to you to ensure safety and quality of work.
• Use safety equipment, PPE and protective devices and equipment

Essential Skills and experience.

• Minimum of 3 years experience working in a similar Electrical role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrates flexibility in order to address business needs.
• Computer literate in Microsoft applications

Desirable Qualifications

• Formal apprenticeship in Electrical Installation or Fitting.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671
• MEWP Licence
• Driving License

37.5 hours per week, everything thereafter will be paid at time and one half.

22 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays (accumulating +1 day for every 5 years of service).

Company Pension: 4% employer contributions.
