Job Title: TIG Welder – Automotive & F1 Sector

Silverstone 

Are you an experienced TIG Welder with a passion for motorsport and automotive engineering?

Our client, a leader in the automotive and F1 sector, is looking for a skilled TIG Welder to join their dynamic team. If you're someone who thrives in high-performance environments, works well with tight tolerances, and has a keen eye for detail, this is the role for you!

As a TIG Welder, you will be at the forefront of cutting-edge automotive and F1 projects, working with high-quality materials such as stainless steel, aluminium, and titanium. You'll collaborate with a talented team of engineers and fabricators to produce critical components that contribute to the success of high-performance vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform TIG welding on a variety of materials, including stainless steel, aluminium, and titanium
• Fabricate, weld, and assemble precision parts for automotive and motorsport applications
• Work to tight tolerances and ensure work meets exacting standards for strength and finish
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety in the workshop
• Collaborate with engineers and fabricators to troubleshoot and resolve any welding issues

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a TIG Welder, ideally within the automotive, motorsport, or F1 sector
• Strong welding skills with experience working on high-performance materials (aluminium, stainless steel, titanium)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to tight tolerances
• Strong knowledge of health and safety practices in a workshop environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• A passion for automotive engineering, motorsport, and high-performance vehicles

Desirable:
• Previous experience in the F1 sector or with motorsport teams
• Coded welding certification or equivalent
