Food Production Operative – AM Shift

Location: Outskirts of Taunton (own transport required)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm

Pay Rate: £12.71–£13.00 per hour

We are currently recruiting dependable and motivated Food Production Operatives to join a busy food manufacturing team located on the outskirts of Taunton.

This is a great opportunity to become part of an established production operation, helping to ensure food products are prepared, packed and ready for distribution efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Packing food items carefully and accurately.
• Weighing products to ensure they meet the required specifications.
• Working in a chilled food production environment.
• Adhering to food hygiene standards and health and safety guidelines.
• Keeping the workspace clean, tidy and organised.
• Assisting colleagues and supporting the production team where needed.

• A hardworking and positive approach to work.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• The ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-moving environment.
• Willingness to work in chilled conditions.
• Access to your own transport, as the location and early start time make this essential.
