Tig welder/ Fabricator – Contractor

Rate: £20.00–£25.00 per hour

Hours: Full-time

We are recruiting experienced Tig welders/Motorsport Fabricators for a prestigious automotive engineering business based in the Towcester area.

Our client has a long-standing and highly regarded history within automotive motorsport and sports car fabrication, delivering specialist, high-quality fabrication work for demanding automotive applications.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced contractor who takes pride in their workmanship and wants to work on technically challenging projects within a professional and highly skilled environment.

The Role

As a Contract Vehicle Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling high-quality components and structures for specialist automotive and motorsport applications.

You will work from engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring all work meets the required standards for accuracy, finish and quality.

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Fabricator, Motorsport Fabricator or Automotive Fabricator

• Strong MIG/TIG welding and fabrication ability

• Confident reading engineering drawings

• Experience working with sheet metal, tube and complex fabricated assemblies

• Excellent attention to detail

• Able to produce high-quality work with minimal supervision

• Motorsport, race car, sports car or specialist automotive fabrication experience highly desirable

• Available for contract work
