Press Brake Operator – Night Shift

Location: NG16
Shift: 4 nights per week
Hours: 5:30pm – 4:15am
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Job Type: Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a busy and well-established engineering and fabrication business based in the NG16 area.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in press brake operation and sheet metal fabrication who is looking for a permanent night-shift position with a stable company and a consistent workload.

The Role

Working as part of an experienced fabrication team, you will be responsible for operating Amada press brake machinery, producing high-quality components to drawing and specification.

Your duties will include:

• Operating Amada press brake machinery
• Setting and operating the machine to produce components accurately
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Selecting appropriate tooling and setting machine parameters
• Checking finished components to ensure they meet required specifications
• Carrying out quality checks throughout production
• Working to production schedules and maintaining high standards of accuracy
• Working safely and keeping the working area clean and organised

About You

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Press Brake Operator / Press Brake Setter Operator within a fabrication or engineering environment.

You should be confident with:

• Operating press brake machinery
• Reading engineering drawings
• Working with sheet metal
• Setting tooling and machine parameters
• Producing accurate components to specification
• Working independently as well as part of a team

Experience with Amada machinery would be highly advantageous.
