Food Production & Warehouse Operatives – Immediate Start

Location: Meldreth, Royston
Pay: £13.27 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm
Job Type: Temporary, with potential to become permanent
Start Date: Immediate

About the Role

My cleint is currently recruiting for Food Production and Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and well-established food manufacturing business based in Meldreth.

These are excellent opportunities for candidates looking for ongoing temporary work with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

Full training will be provided, so previous food production or warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.

Food Production Duties

  • Picking stock from the cold store.

  • Processing and handling food products.

  • Cutting meat to size using a band saw following full training.

  • Packing finished products.

  • Palletising products ready for dispatch.

  • Carrying out basic quality checks.

  • Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures.

  • Keeping the production area clean and organised.

Warehouse Duties

  • Loading and unloading deliveries.

  • Moving stock around the warehouse.

  • Picking and preparing orders.

  • Packing and palletising products.

  • Preparing goods for dispatch.

  • Keeping the warehouse clean and organised.

  • Following health and safety procedures.

  • Supporting the wider production and warehouse team as required.

FLT experience or a valid FLT licence would be an advantage, particularly for the warehouse duties, but it is not essential for all positions.

  • FLT experience/licence is an advantage.
