We’re recruiting Class 2 HGV Drivers in Witney to join a busy local waste and recycling operation. This is an active driving role working as part of a crew, completing local collection rounds across the area.

With £16.62 per hour, early starts and local routes, this could be a great opportunity for drivers looking for regular work closer to home.

The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you’ll be responsible for:

• Driving a Class 2 refuse/recycling vehicle on local collection rounds
• Working alongside a crew to complete daily routes
• Carrying out vehicle checks before starting your shift
• Ensuring collections are completed safely and efficiently
• Assisting the crew with collections when required
• Providing a professional service while out in the local community

What We’re Looking For

You’ll need:

• Category C / Class 2 HGV licence
• Valid CPC
• Digital Tachograph Card
• A reliable and professional approach
• Good awareness of Health & Safety
• Willingness to work as part of a team and assist with collections

This isn't your typical Class 2 driving job. You’ll be out and about locally, working as part of a team and getting an early start to your day rather than spending hours travelling up and down the motorway.
