Are you an experienced Practice Accountant ready to take ownership of a client portfolio and step into a more senior, client-focused role?

We’re recruiting for an established and growing accountancy practice looking for a confident Client Director / Senior Accountant to join their team in Ferndown.

The Role

You’ll manage your own portfolio of clients while overseeing a small team and ensuring a consistently high level of service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and developing a portfolio of clients
• Reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations
• Ensuring accounts and VAT returns are completed on time
• Attending new client meetings and preparing quotes
• Allocating workloads and monitoring deadlines
• Supervising, mentoring and training junior team members
• Building strong, long-term client relationships

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years’ accountancy practice experience
• AAT, ACCA or ACA qualified/part-qualified
• Strong knowledge of accounts and taxation
• Confident managing client relationships
• Comfortable supervising a small team
• Organised, accurate and commercially minded

Package

£32,500 basic + commission – £45,000 OTE

Plus 25 days' holiday + bank holidays, study support, pension, duvet days, staff incentives, discounted gym membership, company events, on-site parking and regular staff breakfasts/lunches.
