Domestic Gas Engineer – Shaftesbury
My client is looking for an experienced Commercial Gas, Oil & Domestic Gas Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs, and installations across a range of commercial and domestic heating systems while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
⦁ Service, maintain, repair, and install commercial and domestic gas and oil heating systems.
⦁ Diagnose faults and carry out repairs.
⦁ Complete planned maintenance (PPM) and reactive call-outs.
⦁ Carry out gas safety inspections and boiler servicing.
⦁ Ensure all work complies with current regulations.
⦁ Complete job reports and certification accurately.
⦁ Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota.
Essential Requirements
⦁ Commercial Gas qualifications (CODNCO1 or equivalent).
⦁ Domestic Gas qualifications (CCN1 and relevant appliances).
⦁ OFTEC qualification (preferred or equivalent experience).
⦁ Proven experience with commercial and domestic heating systems.
⦁ Full UK driving licence.
⦁ Strong fault-finding skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
What We Offer
⦁ £45,000–£49,000 salary (depending on experience).
