Job Title:  CNC Router (temp cover)

Location: Huntingdon
Hours: DAYS

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Router Operator to cover temporary role for July and August. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC routing machines to produce high-quality components while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials and components safely.
• Set up, program, and operate CNC routing machinery.
• Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as required.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications and tolerances.
• Conduct routine machine checks and basic maintenance.
• Record production data accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and production colleagues.

Requirements

Essential

• Previous experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment is essential
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and work instructions.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
• Be available mid-July till mid-August
• Good communication skills.
