Interaction Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Panel Wireman to join a growing engineering and manufacturing business based in Sparkford.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with electrical assembly, wiring, or panel-building experience who is looking to develop their skills within a specialist engineering environment. The successful candidate will join a supportive team and play a key role in the assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical panel building and wiring
• Cable loom assembly and installation
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, wiring schematics, and wiring schedules
• Assembly and wiring of electrical control systems
• Carrying out testing and inspections as required
• Maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship
• Reporting technical issues and queries to supervisors
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the department

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in electrical wiring, panel building, or a similar role
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics
• Experience with cable loom assembly
• Knowledge of bootlace ferrules, insulated crimps, and lug crimps
• Good soldering skills
• Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
