Job Role: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location: Rugby, Warwickshire
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, Days (40 hours per week)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Client:

Interaction Recruitment are supporting a well-established engineering company delivering complex rotating machinery solutions, with a growing focus on renewable energy projects.

The Role:

• Lead design of rotating machinery (stators, rotors, assemblies)
• Support projects from concept through to delivery
• Use simulation tools to validate designs
• Assist with testing, commissioning, and diagnostics
• Produce technical reports and documentation
• Work closely with design and manufacturing teams
• Carry out fault finding and failure analysis

The Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
• Experience with rotating equipment (motors, generators, turbines, pumps)
• Strong mechanical design and analysis skills (
• Background in diagnostics and testing
• Good communication and teamwork skills
