Learning Support Assistant – Special Needs Secondary School
Location: Tiptree, Essex
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: September 2026
Pay: £90 – £110 per day

We are working with a welcoming and well-resourced special needs secondary school in Tiptree to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Learning Support Assistant, Support Worker, or a Russell Group graduate looking to gain valuable experience supporting young people with additional needs in a specialist educational setting.

The Role

• Support students with special educational needs both in and out of the classroom
• Work closely with teachers and specialist staff to deliver tailored learning activities
• Provide one-to-one and small group support
• Assist with communication, emotional regulation, and social development
• Help create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
• Encourage students to achieve their individual learning and personal development goals

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Care Worker, or Support Worker is desirable
• Graduates with a genuine interest in SEN and education are encouraged to apply
• Passion for supporting young people with additional needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
