About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join their growing team. This is a hands-on role involving the installation, maintenance, and repair of water treatment systems across a range of customer sites. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, a proactive approach, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out installation, commissioning, and servicing of water treatment equipment
  • Diagnose faults and perform repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
  • Conduct routine maintenance and system checks
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers on-site
  • Complete service reports and documentation accurately
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a service engineering role (water treatment experience desirable but not essential)
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical background
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good communication and customer service skills

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of water hygiene or treatment systems
  • Relevant engineering qualifications
  • Experience working in field-based roles
