HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver – Keighley, West Yorkshire

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our team based in Keighley, West Yorkshire.

Job Details:

Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour (PAYE)
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Start Times: Between 05:00 – 07:00
Work Type: Tramping role (overnight stays required)

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle for scheduled deliveries and collections
Ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
Adhere to all road safety and driver hours regulations
Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service

Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Previous tramping experience preferred
Strong work ethic and reliability
Good geographical knowledge of the UK

Night Out Allowance: £25.00 per night
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Start Times: Between 05:00 – 07:00
Work Type: Tramping (overnight stays required)

Role Overview:

Carrying out nationwide deliveries and collections for a general haulier
Ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently
Completing vehicle checks and reporting any issues
Maintaining compliance with driver hours and road safety regulations
Representing the company in a professional manner at all times

Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
Previous tramping experience is advantageous
Good knowledge of UK road networks
Reliable, flexible, and professional attitude
