Press Brake Operator - 4 Day Week - 40 hours
£17 per hour | Monday–Thursday | Overtime Available | Temp-to-Perm

Due to continued growth and client expansion, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a well-established and growing engineering business in Bacup. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a skilled and supportive team.

The Role
You will be responsible for setting and operating AMADA press brake machines, producing high-quality components in line with engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate press brake machines, ideally Amada but not essential
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
• Produce components to tight tolerances
• Adjust CNC controls and machine settings as required
• Support general fabrication activities when needed

What We’re Looking For

• Time-served Press Brake Operator
• Proven experience with press brakes
• Strong ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Background in sheet metal fabrication

Desirable Skills

• Experience with guillotines and general fabrication equipment
• MIG welding experience
• FLT experience (training can be provided)

Working Hours & Pay

• £17 per hour
• Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 5:00pm
• 1-hour unpaid break per day
• 40-hour working week
• Christmas shutdown

Overtime

• Overtime available on Fridays
• Paid at time and a half
