Yard Shunter – Desborough

Pay: £18.00 per hour
Shift: 16:00–02:00, Monday to Friday

We’re looking for an experienced Yard Shunter to join a well‑established logistics operation in Desborough. This is a consistent Monday–Friday role with long-term stability, and the site is actively looking to take suitable drivers on permanently.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely shunting trailers around the yard using Terberg shunters
• Positioning trailers onto bays and parking areas as directed
• Working closely with transport and warehouse teams to maintain smooth yard flow
• Completing simple walk‑around checks and reporting any issues
• Maintaining high safety standards at all times

Requirements

• Proven Yard Shunting experience
• Experience using Terberg / yard tractors
• A valid C+E (Class 1) licence
• Good communication and awareness within a busy yard environment
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
