Job Title: Working Foreman

About Us:

Our Client is a leading construction company with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Working Foreman to join our team.

Job Description:

The Working Foreman will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on-site, supervising a team of workers, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of civil engineering  and the ability to lead and motivate a team while ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers on-site.

  • Ensure the completion of tasks according to project plans, timelines, and quality standards.

  • Manage day-to-day site operations and resolve any issues that arise.

  • Oversee the quality of work, ensuring all tasks meet industry standards and regulations.

  • Liaise with project managers and other departments to ensure effective communication and progress tracking.

  • Ensure all work is done in compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.

  • Manage materials, tools, and equipment on-site, ensuring they are used correctly and safely.

  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues or delays to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Foreman or in a similar supervisory role.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • A commitment to maintaining health and safety standards on-site.

  • CSCS Card needed
