We are currently recruiting for a Planning, Shipping & Purchasing Manager to join a world-leading manufacturer. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee and lead the Planning, Shipping, and Purchasing functions. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, managing customer orders, and collaborating with internal teams to meet business objectives.
As the Planning, Shipping & Purchasing Manager, you'll be responsible for driving efficiency across the logistics and purchasing processes while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Planning, Shipping, Purchasing, and Administrative teams to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.
- Oversee the post-sales order processing, including import/export logistics and ensuring all shipping documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (Sales, Production, and Logistics) to ensure orders are produced and delivered on time.
- Follow up with customers on order status, manage delivery schedules, and ensure that all orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Monitor customer credit balances and facilitate payment collection during order deliveries.
- Support the purchasing process for goods and services, ensuring efficient procurement and cost control.
- Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks and other customer service and logistics duties as required.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
- Degree in Business Administration or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 5+ years' experience in Planning, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Logistics, and Administration, preferably within a manufacturing or consumer goods environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365/CRM & PV.
- Self-motivated, with a positive attitude and a strong ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to multitask effectively.
