The Opportunity

Working closely with the Sales Ledger Supervisor, you’ll take full ownership of your ledger, building strong B2B relationships while ensuring payments are collected efficiently and professionally.

You’ll play a key role in protecting cash flow, reducing aged debt, and maintaining excellent customer relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing outstanding balances and ensuring payments are collected within agreed terms

  • Proactively chasing overdue invoices via phone, email, and other communication methods

  • Building strong, professional relationships with key B2B customers

  • Investigating and resolving payment discrepancies and disputes

  • Working cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy

  • Producing and analysing aged debtor reports

  • Supporting month-end and year-end reporting processes

  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date account records


What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in B2B credit control

  • A proven track record of reducing debtor days and improving cash flow

  • Strong negotiation skills with the confidence to handle challenging conversations

  • Personable, Friendly and Enthusiastic 
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship-building ability

  • High attention to detail and strong IT skills
