Salary: £15-£17ph
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Shift Pattern: Continental Shift pattern

About the role:
We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Production Operative to join our dynamic client in Huntingdon.  The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high standards of quality, and contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery and equipment to produce goods in accordance with production schedules.
• Monitor and maintain production lines, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
• Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet the required specifications.
• Assist with the assembly, packaging, and labelling of products.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Support team members in meeting production targets and deadlines.
• Report any defects or issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
• Complete FLT and crane operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred but not essential).
• Technical understanding would be an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• A strong focus on safety and quality control.
• Flexibility to work on continental shifts.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Forklift or other machinery operation certificates (if applicable).
• Experience with quality control processes or ISO standards.
• Be physically fit.

Shifts:

• Continental shift pattern includes days, nights & weekend working
• Permanent opportunities available
