This is a hands‑on role within a busy, modern workshop, supporting the manufacture of high‑strength components for use in demanding site environments.

  • Carry out grinding, drilling, cutting, and finishing tasks as required.
  • Ensure welds meet the required strength, penetration, and quality specifications.
  • Support workshop organisation, housekeeping, and equipment upkeep.
  • Work efficiently to meet production deadlines without compromising quality.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator in structural steel, piling, heavy engineering, or similar environments.
  • Strong MIG-TIG welding capability (additional welding processes beneficial).
  • Ability to fabricate accurately from engineering drawings.
  • Experience working with heavy-gauge steel and large assemblies.
  • Confident using standard fabrication tools and machinery.
  • Coded welding qualifications desirable but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of workshop safety procedures and compliance.

Benefits

  • Stable, long‑term opportunity within a growing engineering environment
  • Overtime available
  • Exposure to large‑scale, high‑spec engineering projects
  • Training and upskilling opportunities
