About the Company

Our client is a respected engineering and fabrication specialist supplying precision‑engineered components and assemblies to a range of industries including automotive, motorsport, aerospace, and specialist manufacturing. Due to continued growth and expanding order books, they are now seeking an experienced TIG Welder Fabricator to join their team.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high‑quality welded and fabricated components to meet strict tolerances and engineering specifications. This role requires strong TIG welding capability across stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel, as well as the ability to fabricate from technical drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel components.
  • Fabricate assemblies from engineering drawings, CAD sketches, or templates.
  • Prepare, cut, and form materials using standard fabrication equipment.
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of completed work.
  • Ensure all welds meet required quality and aesthetic standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
  • Work efficiently to meet production schedules and project deadlines.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a TIG Welder Fabricator in a workshop or production environment.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Confidence in welding thin‑gauge and precision components.
  • Experience in fabricating bespoke and batch‑work items.
  • Ability to use fabrication tools such as saws, grinders, presses, and bending equipment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.
  • Coded welding qualifications are desirable but not essential.
