CNC Miller – HAAS / Siemens ShopMill

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced CNC Miller with strong hands‑on experience using HAAS and/or Siemens ShopMill controls. You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines to produce high‑precision components in a clean, well‑equipped workshop.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC milling machines
• Use HAAS and/or Siemens ShopMill controls confidently
• Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Select tooling, set work offsets and run first‑offs
• Perform in‑process inspection to maintain quality
• Maintain a tidy and safe workspace

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller
• Competent with HAAS and/or Siemens ShopMill
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Good understanding of machining principles and tooling
• Reliable and able to work independently
• Must live within approx. 10–12 miles of LS20

Desirable

• Experience with multi‑axis machining
• CAD/CAM background
• Experience in precision engineering (aerospace, motorsport, medical, etc.)
