Trainee Estimator

Location: Honiton
Pay: £13.00 – £13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shift
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We’re looking for a Trainee Estimator to join our client’s team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the construction industry. No previous experience is required – full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll assist with preparing quotations, reading and understanding drawings, working with subcontractors and suppliers, and keeping projects on track. You’ll also update records and systems, support your manager, and communicate clearly with the team.

What We’re Looking For

• Good attention to detail and communication skills
• Interest in construction or architecture
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• GCSE Maths & English or equivalent
  (Estimating experience is a bonus but not essential)
