Counter Sales / Branch Support (Office-Based)

Location: Kettering 

Full time 8am - 4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 1pm on Fridays

Role Purpose:

Our client is seeking a flexible and motivated individual to join their team as a Counter Sales / Branch Support professional. This office-based role is perfect for someone who is eager to grow with the business, adapt to new challenges, and provide exceptional customer service. You’ll be a key player in ensuring accurate order processing, supporting sales teams, and delivering a superior customer experience. Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Customer Service & Relationship Management: Provide exceptional customer service via counter, phone, and email. Offer quotes, product information, and timely order updates.
⦁ Quoting & Order Entry Accuracy: Accurately prepare and process quotes, ensuring precise order entry.
⦁ Sales Follow-Ups & Pipeline Support: Actively follow up on quotes, support sales conversion efforts, and contribute to customer retention strategies.
⦁ Customer Communication: Ensure customers are informed about ETAs, backorders, and product availability in a timely manner.
⦁ Front Office Presentation: Maintain a welcoming and professional environment for customers visiting the branch.
⦁ Branch Administration: Assist with various administrative tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

Additional Duties:
⦁ Warehouse Assistance: Occasionally provide support during peak or urgent periods (though this is not a core responsibility).
⦁ Inventory Control: Maintain accurate administrative data to avoid mis-picks or incorrect stock allocation.
⦁ WHS Responsibility: Follow Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) protocols, report hazards, and actively participate in safety training and refreshers.
⦁ Leadership: While there are no direct reports, you’ll work collaboratively with the team, model customer-first behavior, and demonstrate flexibility to support team goals.
⦁ Reporting & Administration: Maintain organized records, including customer files, quote logs, backorder lists, and communication notes.
