Job Title:           Test / Repair Technician

Location:           Corby

Salary:               up to £27,000 per annum

Hours:                37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday - overtime available

Interaction Recruitment are looking for 2 Test / Repair Technicians to join our established client in Corby.

The main purpose of the role is to carry out repair and testing of appliances.

Job Specification:

·               To carry out safety testing of appliances

·               Accurate completion & record keeping of inspection / repair data

·               Accurate recording of parts usage & stock levels

·               To carry out quality control inspections / modifications as and when required on new stock

·               Attend all training courses supplied internally and externally, classroom & online courses

·               Ensure that all online training is completed within the assigned timescale

·               Maintain tidy work area and report any health and safety issues to your Line Manager

·               Disposing of appliances and unused material.

Person Specification:

The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in electrics / mechanics and, even if not demonstrated in your work history, a passion for “tinkering” with electrical items is essential. You should also bring the following skills:

·               Must be able to work unsupervised

·               Strong attention to detail

·               Self-motivated

·               Flexible working attitude
