📦 Dispatch Operative – Chilled Environment, Temp-Perm
📍 Location: Sittingbourne
🕒 Shift: Monday to Friday, 6AM to 2PM
💰 Salary: £13.23 per hour

Are you a reliable and detail-focused individual with experience in dispatch operations? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working as part of a team? We are looking for a Dispatch Operative to join our clients food production team on a Temp-Perm basis.

🔹 About the Role:

As a Dispatch Operative, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the chilled goods are accurately checked, recorded, and dispatched on time. Working in a chiller environment, you’ll perform final stock checks and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

🧊 Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out final checks on outgoing stock with precision and accuracy

• Liaise via radio with Planning, Technical, and Transport teams

• Use Electric Pallet Movers (EPM) or similar equipment to prepare and move goods

• Ensure all dispatch paperwork is completed correctly

• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety

• Support the wider dispatch team and contribute to a clean and organized working environment

🛠️ What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a dispatch or warehouse environment (preferably in food production or chilled goods)

• Confident operating electric pallet movers or similar equipment

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures

• Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams

• Comfortable working in cold/chilled conditions

• Due to the location of the site you must be able to drive
