Supervisor – Ancillary Department

📍 Location: Stanley 
🕔 Hours of Work: 05:30am – 18:00pm
📅 Shift Pattern: 4-week rotation (Mon–Wed / Thu–Sat)
Contracted Hours: 35.25 hours per week
💷 Pay Rate: £18.02 per hour (Overtime £27.03 per hour)


The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Supervisor to join the Ancillary Department with one of our well-established manufacturing clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and hands-on individual to lead a production team and ensure daily targets, quality standards, and health and safety procedures are consistently achieved.

The successful candidate will play an integral role in coordinating daily operations, supporting process improvements, and driving team performance to deliver high-quality results.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations within the Ancillary Department, ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently.

  • Record and monitor hourly production figures, completing all required shift documentation accurately and on time.

  • Prepare and distribute shift reports, downtime records, and production data.

  • Attend daily meetings to review performance and discuss improvements.

  • Lead by example on the production floor, supporting the team as required.

  • Maintain high housekeeping and hygiene standards at all times.

  • Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, environmental, and food safety regulations.

  • Work closely with the Quality Department to maintain product and site standards.

  • Train, motivate, and develop team members to achieve departmental goals.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.


The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous supervisory or team leader experience within a manufacturing or production environment (food/beverage experience advantageous).

  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.

  • Committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
