Punch-Press Operator – £14.50 per hour – Days

A long-established CNC manufacturing company—specialising in laser cutting, perforating, and sheet metal fabrication—is seeking an experienced Punch-Press Operator to join its skilled production team. With over six decades of success built on service, quality, and dependability, this is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and forward-thinking engineering environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operating Amada CNC turret punch machines to manufacture high-quality sheet metal components

  • Setting, tooling, and running punch press machinery efficiently

  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job specifications

  • Carrying out first-off and in-process quality checks

  • Ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout production runs

  • Working collaboratively with the production team to meet production targets

  • Supporting other fabrication processes when required

What We Offer

  • £14.50-£15 per hour depending on experiance

  • 38 hours per week (days)

  • Regular overtime available

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience operating Turret punch machines, Amanda beneficial but not essential

  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Reliable, positive attitude with a strong work ethic

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
