About the Role: We are looking for a reliable and motivated Chef de Partie to join our catering team at a school in SW19. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who enjoys steady daytime hours and preparing simple, nutritious meals in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook basic, balanced meals for pupils and staff in line with the set menu.

• Assist with daily food preparation, portioning, and service.

• Ensure high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness are maintained at all times.

• Follow school dietary requirements, allergen guidelines, and food safety policies.

• Work as part of a small team to deliver meals efficiently and on time.

• Assist with stock rotation, ordering, and minimising food waste.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Commis Chef, or in a similar kitchen role.

• Basic cooking skills with a focus on producing fresh, simple meals.

• A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic.

• Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate desirable).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
