Job Title:             CNC Machinist

Location:             Kettering

Hours:                   Monday to Thursday 0730-1615, Friday 0730-1200

Salary:                  £35,202

Are you competent at Turning or Milling?

Do you enjoy problem solving and machining bespoke intricate parts working on small batch's and one offs?

If you enjoy a true engineering and problem-solving environment, then this may be the ideal role for you.

Normal hours of work:                  Monday – Thursday 7.30 – 4.15 and Friday 7.30 – 12.00.

Shift working:                                    You may be required to work shifts on an ad hoc basis, dependant on workload (no night shift working)

Overtime:                                           Dependent on workload

Salary:                                                  £35,202 per annum which includes holiday premium

Role:

The role could involve running several machines and offers variation.

The ideal CNC Machinist will possess as many of the following as possible to strengthen the application:

• Ability to program online (G Code) and operate manual guide
• Ability to read and understand drawings and work within tolerances stated
• Operate CNC machinery to a high standard using driven tooling
• Time Served Apprenticeship or proven experience in a similar environment
