About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Barista with an Enhanced DBS to join our team, working within a care home environment in North London. This is a temporary position offering guaranteed weekly shifts. You’ll be responsible for preparing quality coffee and beverages, assisting residents and visitors, and supporting general catering or GA (General Assistant) duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold drinks to residents, staff, and visitors.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee and service area in line with food safety standards.

• Assist with light kitchen or GA duties, including serving meals, clearing tables, and washing up.

• Provide friendly and respectful customer service to residents and staff in a care setting.

• Follow health & safety and infection control procedures at all times.

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS certificate (essential) – must be valid and up to date.

• Previous barista or catering experience required (care home or healthcare setting desirable).

• Reliable, professional, and able to work as part of a team.

• Flexibility to take on various duties as needed (including GA work).

• Right to work in the UK.
