Teaching Assistant – The Role

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning plans and interventions.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
• Support pupils with emotional, behavioural and communication needs.

Teaching Assistant – Key Requirements

• Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
• Understanding of autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or other learning difficulties.
• A patient, empathetic and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
